  I've been tempted to do the same myself of late, but there is probably some worth in me holding onto the Reasoning Book, NWT, Insight Volumes .... just for counter-intelligence work

  I think boxing it up is a good idea, as from time to time it may be worth flipping the lid to review ones relationship with the literature. If there is zero emotional response, then you know that the conditioning has faded.

  current engineering of artificial sight.

  this includes new retinal chips, a solar powered silicon artificial retina, and implants.

  ... and all the wonders of the modern age of man is slowly but surely shafting the earth.

  Man only attempts to copy what is already there. What is already there is far beyond the reach of human science. The crude construction of man is nothing compared to the organic nature of our reality.

  BTW - I am not defending the WTBTS by the above comment, simply stating what I believe to be the bleedin' obvious.

  didn't the official wt site once have a chat room for jw's?.

  i stumbled onto it a few years ago, but can't remember if it was the official site or not.

  i remember trying to access the chat room but they wanted my congregation name and location along with my po's name and all my other personal information, so i bagged it .

  Another point of view: When a lot of people are witness to a traumatic scene, they often assume someone else has most likely called for help. If you are alone, the only one, viewing the scene, you are more likely to stop and offer aid.

  There are a number of social psychological studies that have shown this to be true.

  I admit that may play a part, but really, it is no excuse.
